Or, it is none of the team managers business. There are few conversations I need to have with the coach but when there is a need to have a conversation with a coach it is none of the team managers business.

Perhaps I can't due to a time commitment, perhaps the coach can't because of a back to back session. Perhaps I don't want to talk in front of my kid or other kids. Perhaps my wanting to talk with the coach is just none of your business and I don't feel like going through a team manager to talk to someone who I am paying. [/quote]

If it's about the playing time, your kid should speak directly to the coach unless it is U9 or younger.  Don't be a helicopter parent.    [/quote]

Or, if you are not comfortable talking to parents then perhaps you should coach older age groups.Kids come with parents and soccer is just a game. [/quote]
