A lot of "believers" in this thread are very, very immoral. Very shameful stuff.
What is your definition of "immoral"?
Thinking it is ok people suffer for an eternity because of something they didn’t believe. Highly, highly immoral.
Your word choice is wrong. It's not "immoral" to believe that. And no one said that is "OK" for people to suffer for eternity for a choice they made. It is tragic and very sad. God weeps for them and most likely will hold many of us accountable for not working harder to spread the Truth. But ultimately, yes, it is their choice.
If "God weeps for them," why wouldn't God intervene to prevent people from going to Hell?
God gave people a choice and he clearly told them you have option 1 -- you follow the certain set of rules and you go to Heaven; or option 2 -- you disregard following the rules, and you go to Hell. God gave humans free will and always treats humans' choices with respect. Once you made your choice, he does not intervene.
But why would God impose the punishment of Hell for not believing in Him?
Can you provide citation, please?
