Hey! They just learned of this whole "pandemic" thing last week! It's not like they had 6 months to prepare or anything.

Well that puts the final nail in the coffin for the “it came from a bat” smokescreen. Because bats aren’t hibernating in August, and therefore aren’t on the menu at the markets, since “bat season” is only during the winter, when they can be hunted and collected while sleeping through hibernation.
