When my house is dirty I have to sweep and clean and it is not easy, not fun and definitely not my favorite task. But it must be done in order to make it great and clean once again. Our country has accumulated a lot of “dirt”. Cleaning it up and returning it to “One nation under God.” is probably not going to be our favorite task. But I am so thankful for a President, who understands this and is willing to complete the work and carry out the duties that will help us to become great and clean once again, one nation under God. He is not perfect, none of us are. But his sacrifices are appreciated by me and many others, who recognize he has a tough job.

I, too, am struggling with the “tragedies.”  I also struggle with the difficulties that come with the “house cleaning” that needs to be done in America. I have a personal  struggle  with seeing people who seem to have lost hope; when hope is right before them. I struggle with those who know of and enjoy the blessings of the work that Jesus did on the cross, yet do not share the “good news that salvation and hope are free.” There is a Way.

Some may think that what He did, “to die a brutal death upon a cross to save the world from its sin,” would bring sadness and they weep at the thought.  But Jesus came, gave His life and continues to bless us as He offers us salvation from our sins.

There is hope and blessings, free for the asking.  I pray that all will come to find the saving grace that is offered to them personally and be willing to make the sacrifices  of a good citizen doing the work of returning America to the intentions of its founders and making this nation great once again,  America can be once again a “lighthouse” to the world and a hope for the freedom we enjoy.
