Marvin Gaye was into teenage girls too. He had a child by a teenager. He left his first wife for the 17 year old he met when he was 34. If we are honest, many of these singers deal with teenagers. Bell Biv Devoe in Do Me -  "Backstage, underage, adolescent..." It is not just R&B. Elvis, Mick Jagger,it goes on.
