[/quote] I can't speak to squash, but at least in Baltimore, there's Baltimore Community Rowing (https://www.baltimorerowing.org/) which specifically does outreach to under privileged kids, as well as regular old kids, to get them into crew. It's a tremendous program. It wouldn't surprise me if other areas had similar programs; rowers tend to be really passionate about their sport and want to convert everyone.[/quote]
