In this situation it sounds as though a neighbor saw her getting on her bike and that a neighbor reported her missing when she didn't return home from her bike ride.  Her bike was apparently found about a half a mile away from her house. I'm not clear on who found the bike.  I also don't know if this bike ride was her regular exercise routine.[/quote]

This sounds very bad, more like a stranger abduction.  Maybe her neighbor just knew her routine.[/quote]
