GTFO. My kid plays on the BU 03's like I said they are a competitive squad but not I'm not some child blind parent that see's my kid in some way that's unrealistic. We are not that good, certainly not overall ECNL good. I'm not going to be some club chest thumper because they take my money. It's a good club for mine, Dan is a great guy and a solid coach. But we are no top level team, we struggle to score, but are pretty solid defensively. Lose games we should win, tie games we should lose and win a few good matches. But it's a pretty darn good experience.

I just don't understand why when average clubs join a league that's supposed to be the best, or even great, everyone thinks suddenly that club and those teams get great. It's such a myopic approach. Kinda like Loudoun in the ECNL. Really just an average club that is still average at best it seems, and the idea that they are great just because they are in the ECNL makes them awesome. Just not the case.

So hate me if you will, really doesn't bother me a bit. it's a silly forum full of keyboard warriors, including me it seems but the truth is the truth as much as many people just don't like to see it. I just have not had many reasons to post here lately.   [/quote]
