Valley Mill: no decision. Only offering credits for next year. TIC: cancelled and offering full refunds. Sidwell: no information.
Too busy counting their ill-gotten gains from the Small Business fund...
Not true, they sent this email on April 22. Hello Sidwell Summer Families, I hope this finds you and yours safe and healthy as we all deal with the growing impact of COVID-19. Thank you to those who completed the short survey regarding Sidwell Summer 2020 – we are reading all the insightful feedback. Please know we are considering thoughtfully what programs we may or may not be able to offer and exactly what our summer 2020 offerings may look like. If you have not already, take a minute to complete the short survey. We want to assure you that we are closely monitoring the recommendations put forth from the CDC and government agencies and will use these recommendations and guidelines to help us make a safe and informed decision regarding Sidwell Summer 2020. The safety of our Sidwell Summer community - campers, staff and families - is always our top priority. We are assessing and planning various in-person and virtual options for Sidwell Summer 2020; we will communicate our plans in early May. POLICY CHANGES for SUMMER 2020: Sidwell Summer will be altering some of our policies given this extraordinary time and situation. For summer 2020, we are extending the deadline for Balance Payment & Cancellation/Changes: Balance Payment: balance payment will NOT be processed on May 1. Sidwell Summer will send communication prior to processing charges – we currently anticipate payment being due June 1, which will allow families to best assess which programs, if any, will fit your summer plans. Cancellation/Changes: cancellations are eligible for a full refund (including the deposit) and any changes (week, program, etc.) will be made free of charge. All requests must be received via email to summer@sidwell.edu. Please clearly state the following in your request: camper(s) name(s), program(s) and week(s) to change or cancel. Note, if Sidwell Summer cancels or changes any 2020 camps or programs, a full refund (including the deposit) will be given. While current circumstances are not ideal, we are grateful for our Sidwell Summer community and appreciate your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time. Stay safe and healthy! Elizabeth & The Sidwell Summer Team
