Our DD loves her PPA coaches and team. We're going to let them keep what we paid, in the hopes that it will help the organization survive. I understand the desire for refunds and the case seems pretty clear-cut that you ought to be able to get a substantial portion back, if not 100 percent. (PPA says it has already incurred significant costs for the Spring season that now looks certain not to happen.) For us, it's bad enough to miss the soccer and the frienships associated with the game. We'd hate to see the organization go down too. But everyone's financial needs are different right now -- I understand that.
Isn't it a huge national organization with tons of overhead? If they furloughed coaches (ie. collect unemployment and stimulus kicker) OR took PPP free don't -apy-back loan, AND kept Spring fees then that is very wrong. They should do full refund if they received taxpayer stimulus.
