I still don't get how or why you equate privacy to shame. No one here is ashamed of anything. The question should be why do you feel so compelled to babble on? A child constantly being made to explain their differences takes a toll on their self confidence. Just let them be kids. Of course issues of adoption, race ect are to be discussed openly and often with family and friends.
