You have some issues, OP. So he was watching DCUMers and figured "Hmm, I'll unleash a pandemic.... that'll teach 'em!" Right.
Eh... this is a tough crowd. Just saying, did you read all those Christmas posts? Just happened that we don't have Easer or Passover. Probably pure coincidence but what a timing. Kind of like a boy who hated his family and wished them to disappear.. and they were all gone when he woke up? Oh wait, this is the Home Alone.. bit like that..
I didn't cancel Passover. My in-laws didn't cancel Easter. We adapted to the circumstances and made the best of a difficult situation
+1. I enjoyed seeing my friends and colleagues post about their Passover celebrations. It inspired me to take extra steps to ensure that Easter would be special in my home. I enjoyed seeing my family over FT that day. I even called an aunt and my step-grandma, who I don't usually chat with on holidays because we're busy with hosting. It was a nice Easter, and I know people will find creative ways of celebrating and of connecting on Hannukah and Christmas and Thanksgiving and what have you in the future, as needed.
