They don’t want US players jumping from a non-MLS DA club to Europe and not getting anything out of it, or potentially having to take a cut on a transfer fee to make a solidarity payment (e.g. the Yedlin Crossfire issue). Bottom line, they want as big a cut as possible on any pros coming out of the US. [/quote]
