So if you're extending the leash six feet, adding in the space for yourself and the space for the dog, that means someone would need quite a bit of space to safely pass by. I say this as someone who takes the 6 feet seriously, and who lives in an area where the sidewalks are narrow enough that I wouldn't be able to pass by you and your dog without having to step into the street. If I'm visualizing/understanding this incorrectly, then good for you for figuring out a safe way to navigate the social distancing. [/quote]
