Utility companies here have agreed to suspend shut offs. I have  a feeling mortgage companies will follow suit, and there will be some kind of direction regarding rent payments.

Look.. a lot of people are indeed suffering, but we don't need to compound the suffering by making more people sick. Imagine if half he workforce gets the virus and can't go to work due to illness.[/quote]

So let’s fire them all preemptively instead because restaurants were forced to close down and offer takeout only? The negatives outweigh the positives IMO, but we can agree to disagree on this. I’m stunned by how many people have already been laid off from their jobs and this will continue to compound from here into a massive crisis way bigger than this stupid virus, IMO.

It is going to take people years to recover, if they even do, even if lenders and landlords and utility companies are forced not to act upon non-payment. They’re not going to forgive the debt! It’ll still have to be paid. [/quote]
