DP... agree that FCPS and MCPS are more diverse than the rest of the country, but FCPS is not as diverse as MCPS. [b] NoVa has just one city in the top 30 most diverse cities:[/b] Alexandria; whereas MoCo - a single county - has something like four cities in the top 30.  Even Richmond, VA is more diverse than most of NoVa.

Germantown, which is on the most diverse city list, is also not an incorporated city.   I don't think that list differentiates between incorporated and non incorporated cities.[/quote]

FCPS demographics: 38.5 percent of FCPS students are White, 25.9 percent are Hispanic/Latinx, 19.6 percent are Asian, 10 percent are Black, 5.5 percent are two or more races, 0.2 are American Indian and 0.1 percent are Native Hawaiian

MCPS: 26.9 White, 32.4 Hispanic/Latinx, 21.4 Black, 14.1 Asian, 4.9 two or more races.

Both are diverse public school systems, though MCPS has more diversity. However, MCPS boundary area has more private school enrollment than FCPS.
