We have a Henry. I see people here comment all the time how popular it is. I see it’s #16 most popular boys’ name nationally and #3 most popular boy name in DC, according to 2018 social security name list. However, our Henry is 5 and in all the activities/classes we’ve been in so far, there’s only ever been 1 other Henry, during 3k preschool. No one else in our friend group, neighborhood, or family has a kid named Henry. The boys names we have met the most of: Liam, Oliver, James, William, Benjamin, then all the -son names (Hudson, Mason, Jackson, etc) and -ton/-don names (Landon, Preston, Colton—yes we’ve met 3 Coltons recently) Anyway, just to point out it’s definitely popular but popular names now aren’t nearly as common as the popular names were a generation ago. It’s just luck if you wind up with multiples of one name in school/activities but it’s not that likely statistically so not something you need to really worry about that much, IMO. And we still love the name Henry :)
