I'm 5'9".  Happened to be a the mall yesterday so tried on a pair at BR.  They are well above ankle length for me, but otherwise fit well and I feel like they'll be comfy and good for work so I ordered the long length online.  Will report back ...[/quote]

Ok, pants arrived so I'm reporting back as promised.  The Sloan modern cut pants in long go just past my ankle, just hitting the top of my foot below my ankle.  With the right shoes, they are ok for winter.   They are unlined (no surprise) but on the thinker side so ok.  I also ordered the Ryan style pants in L.  I think they are listed on the BR website as having the same inseam as Sloan, but that is wrong.  The Ryan pants in L are normal pants length on me (not ankle).  On the continuum of business casual to business attire, Ryan is slightly more business than business casual like Sloan.  They are also less skinny but still well proportioned.   However, due to the difference in cut, I need to reorder a size smaller in Ryan.  I am in between sizes so ordered my larger size for the Sloan modern cut, and went with the same size for Ryan.  Ryan also is washable.  [/quote]
