Because we want universal programs, and because those rich kids are paying taxes too.

Conservatives want to means-test government services (stop rich kids from using them) because they know that programs for the less-well-off are easily cut.

Universal, free, PK is good for everyone in DC.  Rich, poor, white, black — everyone should get free PK.  It’s unifying for the city.
The people pushing to cut PK for rich kids are conservatives that want to cut PK for everyone so they personally can pay lower taxes.

WTF are you talking about? We do provide universal PreK3. It is available to every DC resident.
