Also, I work as an aide in a self-contained Special Ed classroom managing the kind of behaviors that have been mentioned in this thread. You could not pay me enough to do it in a Gen Ed setting and I think it's unrealistic to think anyone could/should be able to do this. In a self-contained room, we have the right physical layout and staff: student ratio to at least reduce the chances that students or staff will be injured during these episodes.[/quote]
