Sincere but divisive and utterly incapable of compromise. Can you imagine cranky Bernie trying to negotiate with foreign leaders? Yeah, me neither.
Except his views are already more in line with most world leaders, except for the dictatorial ones?
Most countries in the world are not socialist despite what Bernie has told you.
This.
I’m so glad you good Americans want our government to resemble Russia, Sudan, and the Philippines, in lieu of a Scandanavian nation.
Scandavia isn't socialist and is strongly capitalist. For yeaaaaaars scandanavia floundered economically under strong socialism doing almost exactly to the T what Bernie wants. It wasn't until the 90s when countries like Sweden actually reduced their crushing taxes and embraced capitalism that their economies started to take off. It is really irksome how badly liberals in the US characerize Scandinavian countries and how ignorant they are of their histories. Even the PM of Denmark had to correct liberals that his country was in fact strongly capitalist. Sweden has business laws that'd make liberals' minds melt, and a country like Norway is rich because of *gasp* oil! https://www.thelocal.dk/20151101/danish-pm-in-us-denmark-is-not-socialist https://www.vox.com/2015/10/31/9650030/denmark-prime-minister-bernie-sanders
