She doesn't have to do that personally with a shovel (although with other large animals this may be a possibility - with a goose you are correct she would be attacked). But by calling animal control. She showed no concern for the animals by killing it instead of waiting a minute, and she showed no concern to the neighborhood by leaving an animal carcass in the street (and next to the pond, which if I know my planned neighborhood fake pastoral touches, was probably right by the playground).[/quote]
