Coaches are great in the recruiting process.  They may be great afterwords, but they may also be very different.  Take a look at the current team roster and count the seniors.  Now go back four years and look at that roster (it’s on the website).  How many freshman were on the team 4 years ago.  If the team still has 50% of the kids as seniors they are about average.

Spend the time making sure the school is a good fit without soccer.  Transferring as a junior if things don’t work out is not impossible but also not easy.  And, there is always a good chance soccer will not work out.  It is too time intensive a commitment to stick around if your not playing.
