Wow that is amazing! I have some suggestions for weekends. 1. Weather permitting go do something that requires walking all day like going through all the museums downtown and choose a farther away metro stop or parking area so you have to keep walking. Drink lots of water. You'll avoid eating because the food around the mall is crappy and the lines are long. You won't feel like you are exercising but you'll get a lot of exercise in. 2. Yard work if you have a hard. You would be surprised how much exercise and time you can kill doing yard work. 3. Closet cleaning - embrace the weight loss to declutter. I tend to hold onto clothes that are too big but I put them all in sealed plastic containers in the attic or basement.
Np here. These are great suggestions. I lost 50 pounds last year, started to exercise again and I am using my newfound energy to tackle the clutter in my house. Every week I do a little more. I might get a closet done and a few months later go through it again realizing that I have things in there that I really don't use or need anymore. The difference is - now I know exactly what is in my closets. It's not just a bunch of bags, bins and boxes of random stuff. I know exactly where ALL of my sweaters are for example. I might have saved 10 sweaters the first time I went through my closet but realize now that I really only need to keep 5 of those sweaters. It's so easy now to just pull 5 out for the donation pile. The yard is another thing. I have work that I've been meaning to get to. Well. starting this month, I AM getting to it. There is touch up paint and various projects that need to get done around the house. I'm starting on that, too. One day I got over 21,000 steps just staying at home, moving boxes out of closets, going through them and carrying donations to the car. It's amazing what dropping that weight can do to you, not just physically, but mentally as well.
