I kind of like GP and found this series to be beyond ridiculous. The energy/force field episode?? Wtf? And the orgasm episode - sorry, but I almost threw up. I would be so embarrassed to be her kids/husband/MOTHER.
Why would you be embarrassed based on that episode? She conducts and interview with a couple of workshop leaders about female sexual pleasure??? What did she do that was so embarrassing in that episode, did I miss it?
Did you not watch the entire episode? The close ups of various vaginas (sorry: VULVAS) and the woman giving herself an orgasm on camera?
well, yes but Gp wasint in those parts. That's what I don't get . I also squirmed when the vulvas were shown close up. And then felt really kind of ashamed for that reaction. Its not like I'm super comfy with male genetalia being shown either bc I'm not used to it but I completely own a d recognize that I wouldn't have been nearly as squeamish about it. We are never shown our own bodies. That's really weird
I think both male and female genitalia are gross looking. There’s a reason it’s called “bumpin’ uglies.”
Right. I'm basically saying that I would have felt silly or just blushed at seeing a D on camera bc we have seen that enough now but that even though I women are naked a Million times more than men on film (hello, literally any HBO show), we never see the actual vulva and I could feel my apprehension growing watching to see if they were actually going to do it and I felt downright anxious watching (well not severely of course but it was a distinctly different feeling, more shame tinged than embarrassed). It's that reaction that really gave me pause. Like no matter how sexually/ sex positive or whatever I think I am, that internalized idea that women's organs are somehow dirty or gross or worse to see was in my head
