Completely messed up. Sorry you have no close personal relationships. With humans.
You're a dick.
NP. Wow, takes one to know one I suppose. As another person stated grief is grief, true. But the question is, what is the object of your grief and is it grief worthy? A human and a pet, both are grief worthy. Does that make both equal in value? Certainly not. I hope that even pet owners, we should all side with saving a human, over the life of a pet, in a hypothetical situation all things being equal. There is a certain sanctity to human life. But that does not detract us from loving our pets. Our hearts have the capacity to love both humans and pets. Sorry OP that your cat died but to compare the loss of a cat's life to a human's life, that is not the comparison that you are trying to make. Rather, I think what you are trying to say is that your cat was a faithful companion and friend, and that is why you are so affected by that loss. The relationship you had with your cat was more personal and intimate than with the humans you have lost in your life. That makes sense. Also, that makes you crazy. JK, only kidding. I couldn't help myself. I just saw Don't #*$& with Cats on Netflix and I don't mess with cat people.
