It is amazing how many parents stop parenting their kids at the time they need the most parenting when they are teenagers. The kids getting into trouble are the kids that allowed to just roam free without checking in with their parents. Teens should have independence but not complete autonomy. [/quote] Wrong. I always had autonomy and never wanted to try any drug. There was TRUST between my parents and me. The friends who were more monitored by parents were the ones who used drugs. [/quote]
