I'm in the same boat with my child, and -- as other posters have suggested -- I have found Campus Pride's website to contain good info. Look past just the star ranking and look at the specific checkboxes re: gender inclusivity, housing, etc. My child and I noticed that a lot of "LGBT-friendly" schools focused more on the L&G, less on the T. :) Oh, and for any school that your child send interested in, a quick Google search of that school and "transgender" should provide helpful additional info, especially if it's from the school's own site.
