I know the futsal rules quite well because my son has played for four years now.  I thought the refs were inconsistent in calling fouls.  I also think that it is unusual that different tournaments have different rules about throwing the ball into the opposition half - it should be consistent by age group across tournaments.  It was fine for our age group to do in the recent Richmond tournament, but we found out the hard way that it was not fine here. I do not agree that the refs were biased in favor of Alexandria, however.[/quote]

Not sure why the rules are not the same across all games. It seems like it would be easy enough for all the tournaments and games to be played using the rules from the ‘national’ championship tournament.[/quote]
