Who keeps track of where the leaves in the yard come from? The leaves are on the ground, we rake them up. We don’t pick them up individually and try to determine which trees they came from and put them on the lawns of the owners.

Sounds like he doesn’t need to “keep track of” anything - she said he doesn’t have oaks and that all the leaves he’s complaining about came from her tree.

If she’s paying someone to pick them up anyway, I don’t see why she couldn’t get the ones that fall onto his property too. Especially since she knows it bothers him. Those oak trees drop leaves for a while too, so she probably expects him to do it more than once or twice. I’m sure he wouldn’t Mind if her guys got them too. [/quote]

He has the right to cut any branches that cross into his property but I can’t imagine he’d incite the expense.  I definitely wouldn’t send your gardeners onto anybody else’s property. The fence  will be effective but your maniac neighbor may chuck the leaves over it.  Good luck![/quote]
