Think about the math, number of applications vs number of staff vs number of working days to read these "creative essays" (those are a dime a dozen). The essays do not set your DC apart from any other prospective student. Admissions has no idea whether your DC or anyone else ie parents wrote those essays. Yes and was at NYU... Good luck to all.
