Having excellent academic credentials, being used to working hard and willing to devote all your time and energy is just the minimum required at places with the much higher pay you are seeking . All the people hired at for example BigLaw would have similar qualifications. But the pressures are a killer and turnover is high. Getting hired is just the start. [/quote]
