Sports fans in D.C. tend to get in the faces of of people (who are minding their own business) wearing the opposing teams' shirt.  I have seen it enough times, though second hand. Not a good look, in general. [/quote]

Really? DC has so many people from other places that most sporting events have a good number of people supporting the other team. I've never seen an issue. There were Astros fans in my section on Sunday and no one said a word.

The worst fan behavior I ever saw was a Yankee fan at a Red Sox-Orioles game who drove down to Baltimore just to watch the Red Sox lose. He was completely drunk and sucker punched the [b]completely peaceful Red Sox fan[/b] in our section and got kicked out.[/quote]

Yankees and Red Sox fans are two of my absolute favorites.  Some of their fans' rituals are great, harmless and all in good fun!  Lots of other teams, too.  Good people, on the whole. Great fans, on the whole. [/quote]
