A shirt that has been worn to the point of being see through should not be donated. In answer to the Op's question, I donate only gently used, near new condition clothes. Usually our favorite clothes are worn enough that I wouldn't donate them. We donate mostly the stuff that we rarely or never wear for whatever reason. The one exception is kids' clothes that they liked but grew out of quickly and are still practically brand new.[/quote]
