That's my goal and before anyone calls 145 fat that is what I was told. 130 for me would be thin and i imagine if i was taller it would be too skinny. Op is free to ignore my advice, of course.[/quote] You have to understand that the number your Dr gave you as a goal is what he/she thinks is the most realistic weight loss you can manage. At 5’2” your ideal by the current BMI standards for normal weight are 104-135. If you are old and obese (and have been overweight some time) telling you to weigh 110 lbs isn’t going to happen and will likely only discourage you. That is why he said 145 is your ideal- it puts you in a better place than you are now and is attainable.
