[/quote] I think it’s also important to point out to your DD that she is strong and has come to you openly because she has a solid and open relationship and she trusts you. There may be other girls already or in the future who do not have people to help them and keeping silent is harmful because it empowers him. Reassure her that her reputation is sound and he won’t malign her because that would risk putting herself as being rejected. He’s not going to do that. He’s merely back-peddling to save face. Remind her that right now she wields the power and she needs to be strong enough to use it for good reasons. He needs help and clearly no one in his circle is looking out for him and helping him get it.[/quote]
