We can't forget the Brexit vote was a campaign promise made on the advice of Jim Messina to mitigate concerns over immigration. The ploy worked in that campaign, the vote went sideways and this is where we are. EU freedom of movement is the only issue under the umbrella of what the electorate voted for. It is all very sad.
