[/quote] +1 Not making an effort to control these particular behaviors in a public area is rude, and it's rude to the ballet teacher and class to bring the dancer to the class late. Otherwise, the fact that small children are acting like small children at a place where anyone would expect to see siblings may be annoying to you personally, but it's in no way rude of the mom. I'd prefer that people not have audible conversations on the metro as it distracts me from my reading, but I'm aware that they have every right to do so.[/quote]
