We're the family with twins who just got into MV8 and are deciding between MV8 and Bruce Monroe for PK3.  We are not IB for BM -- we did the lottery for our kids, who are Spanish dominant -- we are inbound for LaSalle-Backus Elementary school which feeds into New North Middle School.  We don't want to send our kids to either of those schools, primarily because we are heavily invested in bilingual education.

And they still do.......no significant change in neighborhood middle and high school.  It’s a joke that DCPS is celebrating a small increase in scores in 5 years yet 3/4ths of the students are below grade level still.   [/quote]
