There may be 700ish "on the books" but that is because it takes them forever to remove kids from the books who did not continue from a feeder school to Wilson due to a move or private school. Even if a student doesn't register at Wilson, they are still moved through the system from the feeder school until the correct paperwork is filed to officially remove them. If that paperwork is never filed and the kid never shows up (say moved to China and didn't bother with the paperwork), they get counted in the drop out numbers.[/quote]
