For the adventurous and truly young at heart, Yale-NUS, a liberal arts college right in the middle of Singapore.
Wow, great addition. Anyone have experience with Yale-NUS? My son didn’t know what to make of it and a campus visit wasn’t happening.
It’s the first liberal arts college in Singapore. Admit rate is <4%. Appply through common apps theough Yale in new haven, CT. There are also approximately 12 liberal arts affiliate liberal arts colleges in the USA for study abroad (Amherst, Yale, Wellesley, Vassar, Barnard, Swarthmore, Pomona, Oberlin...) so basically, it would be a good fit for students who would apply to these US liberal arts colleges.
PP here. My D just stop arrived there for a study abroad from one of the affiliated liberal arts schools in the US. Her first reaction is she can’t beleave her luck. I don’t believe she’ll be disappointed in terms of academics or her experience there.
