I’m thin (size four) and curvy (DD boobs, big butt). I’m fit. My husband is an executive and we are very well-off. I don’t feel excluded from the very skinny white women in our circle, but I know I don’t look like them.
A size 4 isn’t what it used to be, more like a size 8 in the 1950’s. Just saying...
What's your point? I'm 5'7 and weigh 130 & generally wear a 4- I don't consider myself thin or fat, just where I should be. Who cares what size is listed on a clothing tag? But if you want to make comparisons .... The average American woman wears a 14 - 16 now... So the pp saying she's thin at a size 4 IS thinner (by far) than most other women. I've been lucky because I live in one of the most $$$ cities in the country and most men I meet are wealthy (anywhere from very comfortable but still has to work to retired set for life in his 40's); in my experience these men want a woman who is fit and looks it- not necessarily skinny, but firm and has a flat stomach. I think it's partly a status symbol- they're successful in life, and want a partner who other men will think is attractive. In fairness- I also want a partner who is fit; I'm not attracted to overweight men. Shallow yes, but I have tried to ignore the physical and I cant. I can't blame men for preferring thin and fit either.
