Do you live in DC? I've seen people abandon entire metro cars to avoid some psycho with no one saying a word or confronting the person. There is a yearly article about how some kids stab/beat an elderly person while the rest of the passengers mind their own business. I'm not sure where you get the idea that you would have any support confronting a person on the metro [/quote]

I pay to ride the train just like they do.  The rules say I am entitled to ride in peace. THAT'S what gives me the right.  If they want to be obnoxious and listen to their music without headphones, they should walk.[/quote]
