When WJ lets out, it's almost impossible to drive on Democracy at that time because there are a minimum of 50-100 or so kids crossing at the crosswalk at Davis library who live in the Ashburton neighborhood.

There are so many, they look like a teenaged army walking down the street, lol.

There are so many kids that live in Ashburton that go to WJ, it would be virtually impossible  to bus them all to another school (due to budget for bussing & logistics) as MCPS is saving so much money currently since they're all already designated walkers. [/quote]

Well, they took down last year's bus routes and haven't posted this year's yet.

But I'm finding it very difficult to believe that MCPS expects kids from Pooks Hill Rd to walk to WJ. Or anywhere else that's on the other side of 270 or 495.[/quote]
