I would be a p*ss poor teacher if I simply told my students “All I hear is excuses.” when they hit an obstacle. If this is how you reach, I get why you have time to eat lunch and exercise daily.[/quote]

You'd be a piss poor teacher if you said your students"can't" do anything. If you need help, great, but you CAN do anything, just like your students. I'm glad I didn't have you as a teacher, because I'd never be able to overcome anything since excuses are okay with you.[/quote]

Why do you think I tried to start this group? I realized that just because the things I had already tried didn’t work, doesn’t mean there aren’t other things that would work. Most teachers support trying to find different solutions rather than sticking with ones that aren’t working. I guess you rely on a one-sized for all method with your students and write off as quitters those that it doesn’t suit. I’m glad my kids with SN don’t have you as a teacher.[/quote]
