Not sure how I felt about this article. I’m in medicine so def know that sometimes work comes before kids but this seems cruel.

What is wrong with you? She is not a selfish mother, kids will be fine, probably better than yours with your snowplow parenting![/quote]

I agree, her kid will probably be fine.  But may have no relationship with her mother when she's an adult.  Oh well, as a different PP noted upthread, there are trade-offs.[/quote]
