Because you want a luxury good offered by a private corporation, and it's on you to pay for it. If you aren't willing to save for it, don't go. If you can't save for it, you can't afford it. You may need help, but you sure as hell don't deserve it if you are UMC, especially with this attitude. I am all for giving deserving students aid for college, but I'll be damned if I want tax dollars going to UMC kids whose parents don't want to save because they don't want to live a lifestyle they this is beneath then.
