They are just like any other calories.[/quote] Fruit calories relative to other calories, contain a lot of water, and fewer calories for the volume of food. 290 calories really isn't much at all. I supposed if you're an insane person eating 800 calories a day, but if you're a normal person who is active, exercises, and eats 2500 calories (1800-2000 to lose), then 290 is nothing. As far as weightloss goes, it is calories in, calories out for the most part. But as far as health goes, the quality of the calories matter - and you should be eating lots of fruit for a wide variety of health benefits. - lost 60lbs eating infinite amount of fruits and vegetables.[/quote]
