I think you’re right. But what bothers me is that she prefaced it by saying her kid is white. Her question was not unique to white kids. Why even mention race unless you had a concern about fitting in (which would be appropriate question to ask). AA families care about whether their kids are not/crazy too.[/quote]

In a lot of cities you are taking a risk. Most of these schools are filled with poor performing students, which is reason enough to go elsewhere. [/quote]
