I'm not really complaining because we enjoyed traveling together as a family but it would have been nice to have the option of a romantic weekend or vacation without kids even once every five or ten years of marriage. Parents who take vacations alone aren't selfish! Tending to the marriage is very important. It is, after, the foundation upon which the family is built..[/quote]
